ACAS Programs & Services

Our homes are clean, well-maintained houses that anyone would like to live in. You will find residents take pride in their living space. On a typical day, you will see residents cooking, cleaning, exercising, playing music, doing yard work, and even relaxing with a pet. Our staff support allows us to meet each individual’s unique needs, including but not limited to: vocational, health and social supports. Our homes are located in pedestrian friendly neighborhoods with easy access to recreational and community amenities. We foster the concept of LIVE, WORK and PLAY.

Weekends include a variety of activities and outings, sports, social club, individual hobbies, time spent with family, friends and neighbors. Residents are active with Special Olympics and often attend state and national competitions. Many also attend annual camps and planned vacations to warm destinations.

The residents we serve have very special gifts. Our role is to bring out these gifts, challenge them and help to develop them. ACAS Residents, in other words, lead normal lives – and therein lies their greatness.
